Placement Test and Interview

  • Placement Test:

Students applying for Montessori onwards will appear for an entrance exam in key subjects

  • o Montessori to Grade 2: English, basic numeracy, and oral assessment.
    o Grade 3 to Grade 7: English, Mathematics, and General Science.
    o Grade 8 and Pre-9th: Mathematics, Urdu, English & General Science.
    o Grade 9 and Grade 10: Mathematics, English, Physics and chemistry.
    o HSSC: English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer, Mathematics.
    o Passing Marks: 40%

Interview

After clearing the entrance exam, shortlisted candidates and their parents will be called for an interview to assess:

Student’s motivation and readiness
Parent’s understanding of the school’s expectation

Selection Criteria

The final selection is based on:
Performance in the Placement Test (70%)
Interview of Parents (10%)
Interview of Students (10%)
Academic records (10%)
Notification of Admission Successful candidates will be informed for the
entrance exam through text/call

Payment Schedule

Tuition fees is to be paid monthly or quarterly as per the communicated
schedule.

Refund Policy

  • All fees are non-refundable

Transfer Students

Students transferring from other schools must submit:
1. Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
2. Character Certificate
3. Most recent academic transcripts
4. School/College Leaving Certificate

International Students

International students must submit:
1. Proof of legal residency in Pakistan
2. Academic transcripts verified by their previous institution

Procedure

Nurture International School aims to instill a uniform set of values in our students from all over Pakistan.

Considering the influx of heavy registration requests, Momentous Schools offer admission twice a year, once for spring session that begins in March and once for fall session that begins in August for pre-primary section. Students of both sessions follow the same research based curriculum that not only provide a solid academic foundation but also imparts specific skills set that prepare the children to face the challenges of practical life.

About the Admission Test

Playgroup to Kindergarten

Generally, the reading level of a child, the vocabulary and concepts of colours and numbers are assessed. In addition, the confidence of the child, the level of spoken English and motor skills are taken into consideration.

Class-I Onwards

Applications for Class I and onwards are tested in three subjects – English, Urdu and Mathematics. The pass percentage is 50%. The allotted time to complete the test is 30 minutes.

  • For the written test, the child should come properly equipped with a pencil, eraser, sharpener and ruler.
  • The papers are not set from any specific textbooks or syllabus but are designed to test the aptitude of the child in the basic subjects.
  • The test paper is not shown to anyone and only marks are communicated to the parents/ guardians.
  • Any candidate caught cheating during the admission test will be rejected.
  • The list displaying names of selected candidates will be put up on the notice board of the concerned branch on the date given by the school or will be sent to the registered email address or phone number.
